Meridian - prompt payment discount being removed

Anthony from Kensington

What is the message?
Power Co is making good money and needs (is going) to drop prices so it does it on one hand andwith the other hand by clawing back the price drop by cancelling prompt payment discounts?
How many people fit into what "categories" of - unable to pay on time or don't pay on time or pay on time or get a prompt payment discount.
Is this a oportune balance sheet PR, spin, media release?
Has the electricity review played into the Power Co's hands?
Those unable to afford their power - is there an agency better suited
to handle this?

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?

noisy dogs

Rob from Central Whangarei

lats get cracking on this topic.
Ignorant, selfish dog "owners" that allow their dogs to bark all bloody night and to hell with neighbors right to reasonable peace and quiet and reluctance of authorities to do anything
