Mothers In Need

Nicola from Stanmore Bay

Hi Neighbours,

We desperately need your help and even if you can not help us you could share this so that it reaches someone who can!

We have had a huge influx in families this week and as a result our normal donated supplies are not meeting this demand.
over the next 2 weeks we need to source.

* 18 bassinets
* 19 capsules
* 8 convertible car seats
* 12 baby baths
* 25 single prams
* 8 double prams.

We are asking if you have any of these items as home to give them a little clean up and then bring them down to us at 6/42 henderson valley road otherwise, we can arrange for a pick up. If you are able to take the time to wipe them down and clean then up then it means they can go straight out to a family and possibly even on the same day! Thank you so much in advance.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
