Volunteer at Auckland Museum
Have you ever wanted to get closer to our exhibitions, collections and give back to the people of Auckland? Becoming a Weekend Information Desk Volunteer is a great way to get amongst it at Auckland Museum!
If you’re a friendly, helpful person who would enjoy helping visitors and you’ve got a knack for communicating clearly, we would love to hear from you. You’ll receive full workshop-based training to make sure you’re skilled to field questions and provide helpful information to Museum visitors.
We ask for a commitment of approximately one half-day shift per week or per fortnight, typically on Saturday or Sunday. We would love to hear from you if you have availability on Fridays and/or Mondays also. We are seeking people who are able to make a genuine, long-lasting commitment to being an Auckland Museum volunteer.
Here’s your chance to help shape the experience people from Auckland, the rest of New Zealand and the rest of the world have at Auckland Museum.

I wanted to share my passion for car detailing and the joy I find in making your vehicles shine. I’m excited to offer a Full Hand Wash service.— this is not just a quick wash, but a careful, thorough clean. I’ll wash your car with the utmost care, using your water and my hose if needed, all while ensuring no water goes to waste.
Here’s what you can expect:
A meticulous exterior hand wash and wax.
A lovely interior clean with my high-quality materials.
Carpet vacuuming and a refreshing air freshener to make your ride feel brand new.
All this for just $55! I recently had the pleasure of detailing a client’s car for the eighth time, and I loved every minute of it. Check out the photos from that job—I’m looking forward to another detail this week!
What sets me apart from larger businesses? I take my time to ensure every inch of your vehicle is deeply cleaned. I don’t rush; I focus on quality and attention to detail, treating your car as if it were my own.
I cover the following areas while coming to you:
- Red Beach. - Millwater
- Gulf Harbour - Milldale
- Dairy Flat. - Silverdale
- Orewa. - Manly and Arkels Bay
- Aria Hills. - Aaron Drive.
- Totara Views.
Other Areas can be covered beyond this list for a fallout fuel fee depending on the location.
And if you’re interested, for just an extra $3, I will top up your windscreen washer fluid.
