How you pay your Bay of Plenty Regional Council rates has changed.

The team from Bay of Plenty Regional Council

As a regional council we want to be more transparent and accountable for the work we do for you, which is why we’ve made changes to how our rates are invoiced and paid.

If you are a ratepayer, your Bay of Plenty Regional Council rates will no longer be invoiced by your city or district council and instead, you will be invoiced directly by us.

Ratepayers will receive one annual invoice from Bay of Plenty Regional Council late August –September 2022, which is due on 20 October.

You can find out more about the changes, how much your rates will be for the 2022 -2023 rating year and how to get organised on our website.
