WANTED - BASKETBALL COACH - CAN YOU HELP?
Special Olympics North Canterbury is looking for a special person who loves basketball as much as we do to join our team as a Coach - this is a voluntary position. You will be well supported by our Head Coach and team of Volunteers and awesome basketball athletes.This vacancy has come about as Georgia Mae has now graduated and is moving to Auckland - she will be sorely missed. Training is every Tuesday night 6.30pm to 8pm at Rangiora High School gym in terms 2 and 3 (over the winter months). The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
