Rakahuri Rage on 12th March
The Rakahuri Rage 6-hour mountain bike relay race returns to Rangiora on 12th March 2017. It's run by the North Canterbury Sport & Recreation Trust with all proceeds supporting the MainPower Waiswim Primary Schools Swimming Programme.
Based from the Rangiora Race Course teams of 2-4 riders compete to see who can do the most laps of the 8km course in 6 hours. The track used in this race is suitable for riders of all abilities combining single-track through river-side bush and wider stop-bank roads.
The Rakahuri Rage is open to 12 years and older and has categories to suit all age groups and gender mixes.
