We heard fromJulie Lee, the regional and national coordiinator for Time Bank and from Ange Wylie, coordinator for Time Bank Hurunui. Lots of good ideas were offered by the audience about following up on last night's meeting. The next step will be to establish a steering group to work through what needs to be done to get Time Bank Waimakariri established. Based from the Rangiora Race Course teams of 2-4 riders compete to see who can do the most laps of the 8km course in 6 hours. The track used in this race is suitable for riders of all abilities combining single-track through river-side bush and wider stop-bank roads.
The Rakahuri Rage is open to 12 years and older and has categories to suit all age groups and gender mixes.
