Resurfacing work - Ghuznee Street

Simone Borgstede from Wellington City Council

From Monday 29 March to Tuesday 13 April, Fulton Hogan will be resurfacing the area of Ghuznee Street between Willis Street and Taranaki Street.

Work will be completed at night between 6pm - 6am.

During work hours, Ghuznee Street will be closed to through traffic and only available for resident access.

A detour will be in place as well as a reduced speed limit around the site to keep everyone safe. The two bus stops within the work area will be temporarily closed but there will be bus stops available at either end of the closure.

Pedestrians may still walk through but please follow the instruction of the crew and expect some delays.

This work is weather-dependent and we'll update our channels if there are any delays. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we complete this work.
