Planning on doing some op shopping? Good idea – make sure to pop into your Red Cross Shop, we have more than 40 around the country! It is also a great time to drop off your unwanted Christmas gifts or to find someone else's pre-loved treasure.

Volunteers needed - Khandallah
Are you fit, strong, and keen to make a difference in your community? One of our members, St Vincent de Paul Society Wellington is refurbishing their Vinnies op shop in Khandallah and are in need a couple of enthusiastic volunteers to lend a hand! Getting into some painting or heavy lifting, so you'll need to be comfortable with a bit of hard mahi. Working alongside our friendly team and maybe even picking up some new skills along the way! Make a real impact in your community and see the transformation of an op shop firsthand!

Poll: Is it rude to take a full trolley to self-checkout?
Luckily self-checkout is being pretty common in supermarkets these days and we generally use it to quickly buy a few things without the long lines. But perhaps it's appropriate to head there with your full trolley to skip the lines?
