Emergency water supply

Simone Borgstede from Wellington City Council

What would you do if your home had no water following an emergency event?

In an emergency, your household may have to care for yourselves and your pets for up to 7 days until water distribution points are set up. If an earthquake hit it may be even longer before water service is restored.

Get prepared and buy your water tank from the Tip Shop at the Southern Landfill – and remember to refresh the water twice a year.

Poll: Is it rude to take a full trolley to self-checkout?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Luckily self-checkout is pretty common in supermarkets these days and we generally use it to quickly buy a few things without the long lines. But perhaps it's appropriate to head there with your full trolley to skip the lines?

What are your thoughts? Is that rude?

Share in the comments below if this has ever happened to you.
