⚠️WATER OUTAGE – NGAIO ️
Our crews are responding to further problems with the water main outage from yesterday that is now affecting water supply to Ottawa Road (18 to 75), Khandallah Road (1 to 36), Carroll Street, Ralhania Lane, Tarikaka Street, Ngata Street, Pomare Street, Colway Street, Awarua Street (1 to 43), Iwi Street and Bombay Street (26 to 58).
Our crews are working to reduce the outage area while trying to repair and get water back on as soon possible. We will continue to provide updates.
In the meantime, bottled water is available outside the Library on Ottawa Road or alternatively a water tanker will be onsite shortly, making its rounds in the area for any residents that wish to fill up containers.We apologise for the inconvenience.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
