Nature based Holiday Programme

In case you haven't heard we are running a Nature based Holiday Programme for kids aged 5 - 12 years these October holidays. It's based at Huntleigh Park, Crofton Downs.

The Everyone Out Holiday Programme will be a fantastic place for kids to play, explore and learn. Kids will delight in a free play environment. They will have the opportunity to follow their own interests in an amazing natural settling.

Some activities on offer at our programme include:
- Exploring the bush and its inhabitants
- Hut building
- Bush arts and crafts, working with natural materials
- Storytelling and drama
- Building a camp fire and roasting marshmallows
- Creating and playing games
- Visits from experts
- Making and playing musical instruments
- Low ropes course
- Making and cooking camp fire damper

Our skilled educator's understand the benefits of free play and have the ability to support and extend children’s learning. Today's kids lives are full of instructions and structure, free play in nature is essential for children's brain development and physical and metal well-being.

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
