Volunteer at Wellington City Mission
The Wellington City Mission provides support with food, housing, financial mentoring, access to social work support and advocacy. In November, they move to Whakamaru on Oxford Terrace, Mount Cook and they need your help. There are a variety of volunteer roles availbale, including, Laundry Volunteer, Volunteer Host, Social Supermarket Volunteer and Floating Volunteer. An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
