Dixon Street Deli closes after nearly 100 years

The delicatessen was a "complete Wellington institution", run by three generations of the Chait family at the same location. It was originally a poultry shop before it became a deli in the 70s, and one of your city councillors can even remember visiting the shop as a child to buy fresh chicken (a bit of a luxury back then). What are your memories of the Dixon Street Deli?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
