It is not Friday but this image and words from Louise Thomas is too good to ignore.

"Wallace resented being called a cattle egret, he'd never stood on the back of a cow in his life. He was an inner city sports field bird, and preferred his worms with a hint of petroleum and sprinkled with NPK fertiliser. Cattle egret (Bubulcus ibis), Wellington College No 1 field on Sunday. Bird #43 in 2023."

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
