Explore Wairarapa this Easter!

Denise Landow from Destination Wairarapa

Explore wildly charming Wairarapa for a fun-filled Easter adventure.

There's plenty on to see and do:
- Wairarapa Balloon Festival - a packed five-day Easter programme with mostly free events and a spectacular Night Glow on Saturday 8 April.

- Blackwell and Sons' National Tweed Ride - dig out your finest tweed attire and cycle around Greytown's beautiful streets on Saturday afternoon, 8 April. It's a fabulous spectator sport as well.

- Molewood Orchard, Greytown. It's harvest season and you're welcome to bring a bag or bucket, and pick your own apples for only $2 per kg! Saturday 8 - Monday 10 April. Why not bring along a picnic lunch as well and make a day of it. Sunscreen, sturdy footwear and hats are good ideas too!

- Korero with Stan Walker at Carterton Events Centre - submit a question for Stan for his post-concert get together on Saturday 8 April.

- Easter Monday Chill Session at Gladstone Vineyard, Carterton. There will be live music, fine wines, fabulous Japanese cuisine on Monday 10 April, free entry from 11am.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.

Ruth from Aro Valley

Can anyone give advice on how to do this? I have already reported the interference to the neighbourly team.
