Join us this International Women's Day for dance, comedy, poetry, music + more!

For International Women’s Day 2023, we’re showcasing the voices and talents of women and gender diverse people in Aotearoa New Zealand. Join us at Fourth-Wave, a festival which aims to celebrate intersectionality and empower women through kōrero and performance.

Fourth-Wave will feature dance, comedy, poetry, music, plus a live recording of a panel for our Get Woke Wellington radio show and podcast. Finger food will be provided, and a cash bar will be available for the purchase of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
