We're giving away FREE reusable shopping bags!

Tommy's Real Estate Wellington City

Tommy’s Real Estate has always been big on supporting the local communities who have supported us. Now we are doing something for the environment!

It is estimated New Zealanders use around 1.6 billion single-use plastic bags every year. By 2050 there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean! Tommy’s is giving away 35,000 heavy duty reusable shopping bags over the next several weeks in an effort to help free our beautiful Wellington city from plastic shopping bags.

You can collect yours from any Tommy’s open home or Tommy’s office!

For the next 4 weeks we will be stationed at:
- New World Chaffers on Saturday (12pm – 2pm) and Sunday (10am – 12pm)
- Harbourside Sunday Market (10am – 12pm)

Tommy’s, more GREEN than just our branding.

Poll: Is it rude to take a full trolley to self-checkout?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Luckily self-checkout is pretty common in supermarkets these days and we generally use it to quickly buy a few things without the long lines. But perhaps it's appropriate to head there with your full trolley to skip the lines?

What are your thoughts? Is that rude?

Share in the comments below if this has ever happened to you.
