Colonial Knob Spring Challenge

Beni Neighbourly Lead from Ranui

Hello neighbours😅

We are starting another 12week walking challenge next week and would like to extend an invitation to all & any neighbours who would dare to give this challenge a go! It's fun & free.
Do it for you or your family, prove to others you can do it as many have failed.

All you have to do is go up the colonial knob walk way once per week for 12weeks!
Get a selfie at the lookout and post it on our group page 'Rangituhi-Colonial Knob Warriors every walk you do.

Starts: Monday 4th September
Ends: Sunday 26th November

What is it all for? It's all about promoting healthy living & excersize in our neighbourhoods. It's FREE & it's fun.

How do I join? Join over 100 other members in the rangituhi colonial knob warriors group in the group section & then start walking!😅

All the best.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.

The Hikoi on Tuesday 19th

Jeanette from Tawa

I copied this from a Facebook page: The expected route of the hīkoi on Tuesday is from Takapuwahia Maree in Esldon towards Porirua and along Kenepuru Drive to Tawa, then up Middleton Road to Johnsonville, down Ngaraunga George and along the old Hutt Road to Wellington. They are anticipating significant congestion on the roads between 06.00am and 12.30pm.
