🎨 How to give your mental health a creative boost
It's Mental Health Awareness week which is a great time to stop and ask ourselves how we are.
Ask yourself "Is my wellbeing account edging towards overdraft?"
"Am I too busy to take time out for a bit of self care?"
"Do I need a quick pick me up?"
If you answered "Yes" to any of those and you need an easy way to give yourself a boost, Paint Parties are your answer!
Studies have proven that art makes you happier, even if you’re not good at it. Just the process of doing something creative is enough to improve your wellbeing.
I don't want you to miss out on the positive benefits of art, so I'm inviting you to join one of our Paint Parties! You'll relax, unwind and feel any stress melt away as you paint.
I''ll provide everything you need to create your own painting, including my step by step guidance that's easy to follow, so you don't need any experience.
You'll enjoy quality 'me time' that'll put a massive 'happy deposit' in your emotional wellbeing account, and have your own finished masterpiece to take home and enjoy.
Choose from any of our upcoming painting events
and join us to enjoy your fun 'art therapy' painting session.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
