Residents Association update
Tēnā koutou, talofa lava, and greetings! I hope this message finds you all safe and well in these testing times. Like everyone else the Residents Association activities have been totally disrupted by the Level 4 lockdown in response to COVID-19. Our April meeting will not be happening but you will find the March meeting minutes attached. I wish to assure you that we will continue to engage with other parties and organisations in the meantime to progress those items we can, in particular the Safety Issues discussed at the March meeting. Hopefully all goes to plan and the lockdown achieves the desired results, in which case we will see you in May!
Until then please take very good care of yourself and whanau and I encourage you to make the most of the opportunity to get to know your neighbours better, from a safe distance of course! We have seen many examples of wonderful kindness and compassion on the news and social media. If there is something good to come out of all of this hopefully it will be the strengthening of these virtues in all of us and this will carry on into the post COVID-19 future.
All the very best,
Karl Frost
President

Live Q&A: Garden maintenance with Crewcut
This Wednesday, we are having another Neighbourly Q&A session. This time with John Bracewell from Crewcut.
John Bracewell, former Black Caps coach turned Franchisee Development Manager and currently the face of Crewcut’s #Movember campaign, knows a thing or two about keeping the grass looking sharp—whether it’s on a cricket pitch or in your backyard!
As a seasoned Crewcut franchisee, John is excited to answer your lawn and gardening questions. After years of perfecting the greens on the field, he's ready to share tips on how to knock your garden out of the park. Let's just say he’s as passionate about lush lawns as he is about a good game of cricket!
John is happy to answer questions about lawn mowing, tree/hedge trimming, tidying your garden, ride on mowing, you name it! He'll be online on Wednesday, 27th of November to answer them all.

Calling All Puzzle Masters! Can You Solve This?
When John was six years old he hammered a nail into his favorite tree to mark his height.
Ten years later at age sixteen, John returned to see how much higher the nail was.
If the tree grew by five centimetres each year, how much higher would the nail be?
