What's on at Strathmore Community Centres, 108 Strathmore Ave and Raukawa Reserve.
Morena :)
We hope Monday is treating you well and there are no Garfield moments out there?
Where has the year gone? It’s September next week! The great thing about September is day light savings on Sunday, 30th 2am.
And It’s Bee Aware Month. There are Beekeepers all around Wellington demonstrating bee keeping and talks about what you can do in your backyard to attract Bees. It will be an interesting discussion for sure!
For more information contact Amy Bird at amy.bird@wcc.govt.nz or phone (04) 499 4444
Join us for a talk on Bees at both our Strathmore Centre’s in October.
Raukawa Tuesday 2nd October, 10.30am
Strathmore Park Community Centre Saturday 6th October 10.30am
Check out ‘What’s on’ for this week. Everyone welcome to join in and help keep our Gardens looking great. Hopefully we will get a lot of planting done. Especially for attracting the birds and the bees.
Stay fabulous and have a great week.

Poll: Is it rude to take a full trolley to self-checkout?
Luckily self-checkout is pretty common in supermarkets these days and we generally use it to quickly buy a few things without the long lines. But perhaps it's appropriate to head there with your full trolley to skip the lines?
What are your thoughts? Is that rude?
Share in the comments below if this has ever happened to you.
