On the lookout for unoccupied and unloved houses
Hi everyone, following the fire at a frequent haunt of squatters on Abel Smith St on Tuesday night, one of our reporters is looking derelict former dwellings around the city.
If you know of any in your area please get in touch with senior reporter Damian George: damian.george@stuff.co.nz
The attached pic is of a derelict three-storey Edwardian-era home at 1 Allenby Tce which was damaged in several fire incidents between 2009 and 2014.
Poll: Is it rude to talk on the phone on a bus?
Buses can be a relaxing way to get home if you have a seat and enough space. However, it can be off-putting when someone is taking a phone call next to you.
Do you think it's inconsiderate for people to have lengthy phone calls on a bus? Vote in the poll, and add your comments below.
