Illegal trails

Simone Borgstede from Wellington City Council

Though we are in lockdown, there have been reports of illegal trails being built across the city. This is a prosecutable offence at any time, but puts our communities at additional risk during this time.
Illegal trails are unsafe and threaten our natural environment.
If you see this happening in your area, please call the Police on 105 or contact them online at www.police.govt.nz....
Please do not use 111, as this is for emergencies only. Stay safe and avoid putting yourself and others at risk.
