Agee and Mason Preserving Jars

Manuela from Community Fruit Wellington

One of our regular donors has passed her large collection of new/unused preserving jars on to us. We are offering them to our supporters for a suggested koha donation of $7 for the 1 x litre jars and $5 for the .5 litre jars - we are happy to offer a discount if buying more than a couple. They come with metal screw on bands and seals and are in pristine condition. Any funds raised will go to a community effort near where our donor lives.

Please email us at wellypickfruit@gmail.com or call/text 022 596 9577 if you are keen to support this. Pickup is from Ngaio.

Is your electorate changing?

Electoral Commission

The Representation Commission is adjusting the electorate boundaries for the next general election. These changes are all about balance, and make sure each electorate has about the same number of people. That way, all New Zealanders are equally represented in Parliament. If we move an electorate boundary, you could end up in a different electorate to the one you’re in now. So we show you what we’re proposing before any changes are made and give you the chance to share your thoughts. Have your say at vote.nz Find out more

Poll: Would a new supermarket help NZ?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Nicola Willis will this weekend announce decisions taken by Cabinet to incentivise and encourage a third supermarket player alongside FoodStuffs and Progressive (Woolworths).

Do you think having a third supermarket chain will bring competition and lower grocery prices, or will the existing giants still dominate?
