Freedom - there's nothing like it!

Jane Fisher from Newtown Toastmasters

"Freedom" on a Tuesday night - there's nothing like it.

With the shift to Level 2, conversation around the "new normal" continued. Part of our club's "new normal" is our Toast Rack resource library - Terry debuted the Content Editor role, which is now a fixture of our meetings.

Norbert's Table Topics got us thinking about what we didn't do during lockdown; Andy convinced us of the benefits of working from home; and Dianne gave us her take on the topic of Leadership Styles.

Come and add your jazz hands to our screen on 9 June....we look forward to meeting you

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
