Hi everyone ... A very very early friendly reminder about our meeting next week on Wednesday 13th June 2018.

We have two confirmed speakers so please come along to support our fellow members ...

Most of all, come along and have a few laughs with us during our openings with Table Topics where we speak about a randomly chosen subject completely off the cuff!!

P.S. Also thinking of one of our active fellow toastmaster members who had surgery today on her ankle - wishing you a speedy recovery Jo Moar! ❤️

Looking forward to catching up with you all next week - in the mean time, keep warm by drawing them curtains and closing the blinds as early as you possibly can.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
