Floor lamp - Barley twist style, solid wood
Floor lamp made from solid wood with a retro lampshade. In good condition, lampshade is a bit dusty but easily rejuvenated. The stand is solid light-coloured wood, possibky rimu? and I think the style is referred to as “barley twist”.

Luckily self-checkout is pretty common in supermarkets these days and we generally use it to quickly buy a few things without the long lines. But perhaps it's appropriate to head there with your full trolley to skip the lines?
