We are sharing information about the Christmas Connection initiative in case anyone would like to participate.
Created by founder Sarah Robb of @springwithsarah Christmas Connection is a heartfelt initiative designed to bring comfort and connection to those who may find this time of year challenging due to the death of a loved one.
This year we have teamed up with our friends at @endoflifeplanning.me and @sovereigndepartures so Sarah's beautiful initiative can be delivered in Wellington alongside the Christchurch and Auckland event.
We invite you to be a part of this meaningful journey by sharing a personal message to your loved ones who have passed away.
Your words will be etched onto wooden Christmas decorations, creating a beautiful and poignant memorial throughout December.
On Christmas Day, these heartfelt messages are ceremoniously burned in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland, allowing them to be sent to your loved ones who have passed away.

If you're in Christchurch you can pop into a library or use this link to pass on your message springwithsarah.com...
If you're in Auckland you can pop into the Grief Centre Birkenhead office, or email your message to them on christmas@griefcentre.org.nz
