Easter and bunnies
**PSA***
Easter is coming, yay chocolates. But unfortunately many people will buy rabbits for their kids/family, the rabbit will be loved for a little bit but then will be left in the hutch in the back of a garden, not cared for properly. Rabbits are not an easy, first pet, they require so much. Some quick fact's
-rabbit average life span 10-12 yrs
-they require lots of space, a hutch is not enough, think what space a dog requires, that is what a rabbit needs
-there diet is a bit of a science formula, not just carrots and lettuce, they'll require their own weekly veg shop and this can get expensive
-regular vet checks and vaccinations
-they need company so you won't have 1 rabbit but 2 and they'll often will only bond with the opposite sex, so, big vet bills for desexing
-and stock pile on chargers cause they love that spicy hay on there teeth.
So, in short, just like a dog isn't for Christmas, the same goes for bunnies and easter.
If you find yourself needing to re-home your bunny please please don't put advertise them for free or just release them. Please contact your local recuse, SPCA, HuHA, Wellington Rabbit Rescue or even myself will take them in and get them to a loving home.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
