Public announcement - attn : commuter cyclist with blue rash top

Conrad from Newlands

Hi,

At 7:30am this morning I was driving along Horokiwi rd on my commute to work.

You were heading into town too. I was beside/behind you in the bends before the crossing.

Just before the pedestrian crossing before the roundabout by the new world you quickly checked behind you and swing in front of me into the turning right lane. There were two cars waiting to drive through in the left lane.

You didn't miss a beat and sailed through the roundabout and immediately swung hard left in front of those cars and continued straight through. The roundabout was busy.

I don't want to see a road accident on my way to work, maybe you should consider who might come off worse in an accident if you want to save 10s on your commute.

Thank you.

C.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
