The New Zealand Red Cross Dragon Boat Team is entering its 9th season, offering an unbeatable mix of fitness, fun, and community impact.

This exciting event is more than just racing—it's about coming together to create positive change. All skill levels are welcome! Over six weeks, team members train, fundraise, and prepare for an unforgettable race day, all while raising essential funds for New Zealand Red Cross. Your efforts will support humanitarian initiatives here in Aotearoa and around the world. Join Team RED CROSS for the Wellington Dragon Boat Festival 2025

WHAT YOU GET
Free training and subsidised entry.
A free Team Red Cross training shirt,
Professional fundraising support.
A fun, supportive environment and new friends.

YOUR COMMITMENT
6-8 weeks of training, one evening per week (starting January 2025).
Race day: Saturday, 1st March 2025. $25 registration fee.
Individual fundraising target of $500.
