New Zealand’s minimum sick leave allowance is one of the lowest in the OECD. In Australia they get 10 days, in most European countries it’s even more.

They were considering a temporary home and then getting him relocated. However with COVID-19, this is not likely to happen anytime soon so would be better if he had a permanent home.
