Dog poo on the street!!!

Craig from Miramar

I hope this finds everyone well and safe in this trying time. It’s great to see so many people out walking around their neighbourhoods and enjoying the fresh air saying hello to new neighbours every day.

However this means an increase in the number of dogs out walking each day. I walk my dogs usually more than once a day and have noticed a significant rise in the number of droppings left on the footpath.

Please...if you are walking your dog, plan ahead and take bags. You can recycle any plastics bags you have...bread bags, bags food comes in etc. Don’t be the person everyone hates for not caring about anyone else. Pick it up and put it in a bin!

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
