Seamstress available for project/commission work
Kia Ora everyone!
I hope this is ok but I thought this might be worth a shot. I’m self-advertising my services as a seamstress! I can do alterations, (starting at $15 for a basic pant hem) and made-to-measure items with flexible payment plans.
I’m looking to take on a couple more commissions/projects on the side as I fundraise to represent Aotearoa at this years Prague Quadrennial in the Emerging Artists section!
I’ve got over 5-years experience in both costume and fashion design so I’ve got a good range of skills for making and mending. I will literally work with anything, anyone and everyone which I know can be a struggle to find the right person sometimes. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
