Come snorkelling with Mountains to Sea!
This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to see the beauty of our underwater world. Take a peek at the fascinating array of marine organisms that live right here on our doorstep, out of sight, just under the surface.
Join Mountains to Sea Wellington for a guided snorkel at Taputeranga Marine Reserve, Whitireia Park, or Kāpiti Island.
Beginner snorkelers are encouraged (but you must be comfortable in the water). The minimum age of snorkellers is 8, and those under 16 must be accompanied by a snorkelling adult.
We provide all the gear free of charge and will also buddy you up with an experienced snorkel guide to facilitate the best experience possible. Our guides will get you kitted out, answer any fishy questions you might have and generally look after you whilst you take a dive into the salt and spray.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
