Caring for Creation in Karori

Letetia Cheetham from St Ninian's Uniting Parish

The St Ninian's Fishing club meets every Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm on Zoom and we have been developing our understanding of how we can be disciples in our community. 🙏

Our Fishing club events are community-facing with a focus on discipleship. Our next event planned focuses on the Season of Creation.
Caring for Creation in Karori: Sunday 4 September at 2 - 4pm
Monaghan Reserve (near 65 Monaghan Ave)

We will be supporting Karori Kaitiaki planting in community spaces on Monaghan Ave. Please bring gardening gloves, a water bottle and a jacket. Also a lopper, spade/shovel and rake. This is a great opportunity to join our community to help care for God's creation. Suitable for all ages. 🪴

Please join us. 😊

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
