Playgroup restarting Tuesday 23 July in Island Bay

Clive from Island Bay

We've enjoyed a break over the school holidays and we are back open again from 9.00am on Tuesday. This is a small, drop-in Playgroup, no fees, just a koha. We provide teas and coffee, plus some nibbles for everyone, plus the chance for a chat with other caregivers and parents. Great as a pre-cursor for your child to play centre or Kindy. We have masses of educational and experiential toys encouraging mental and physical development. We are on the no 1 and 29 bus routes and the stops are right outside so very easy access, and we have plenty of parking spaces available in Humber Street.

Poll: Should drivers retake the theory test every 10 years?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Drivers get where they need to go, but sometimes it seems that we are all abiding by different road rules (for example, the varying ways drivers indicate around a roundabout).
Do you think drivers should be required to take a quick driving theory test every 10 years?

Vote in the poll and share any road rules that you've seen bent! 😱

This Sunday we have a pet blessing service, and you're invited!

Administration Team from Island Bay Presbyterian Church

Your pet is welcome at our annual appreciation of animal, birds, reptiles and more!
A blessing of local family pets is a witnesses to God’s and the Church’s love, care, and concern for creation. As we recognize our mutual interdependence with God’s creatures, the Church’s witness of stewardship of creation is strengthened.
