Brick Bats to New World Miramar wednesday 24th Jan
Today as I went through to pay, the very polite cashier said $99 and I said to him that seems to be too much, however he took my $99 and I said I will check receipt and I did guess what. So he missed the 4 nectarines but charged me $36 for a fruit platter which I never bought. Annie fixed it all up for me but here is the warning EVERYONE. Check your receipts is imperative I think and how many other mistakes are made if you don't check.
I phboned management very apologetic but think more care needs to be taken tha we the custome do not pay for something we never bought. so today a BIG BOO BOO BOO for NEW WORLD Miramar Geoff
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
