Don’t flip your lid, wheelie bin clips are on their way
We know you’ve been asking for wheelie bin clips to help contain recycling on windy days, so we’re happy to announce we’ll be distributing FREE clips over the next month to every household in the capital (over 40,000) that currently has a council-provided wheelie bin. The clips are easy to install, just dip in water before you attach it & then you simply unhook the strap on the side to lift the lid & pop in your recycling. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
