Wellington property prices reach new records
Wellington property prices reach new records according to the latest 'Property Price Index' from Trade Me. Sellers are seeing record property prices in Wellington after the average asking price climbed 12.3% on last year to reach $593,250. Head of Trade Me Property Nigel Jeffries said the Wellington property market isn't showing any sign of slowing down.

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
