From Monday! Route 18e extended to 7 day service 7am to 8 pm
I’ve just seen the news below on the Metlink website. It has come in response to pressure from the community, including advocacy from your local Ward Councillors and MPs.
Along with the extension of Route 14 back to Kilbirnie this is a good start, but there is still more that needs to be done! I’ll certainly be keeping the pressure on GWRC for more improvements.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
