ALTERNATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY PROCESSES - Workshop 30 July 9-12pm

Cheryl Corrado from Inverlochy Art School

Brian and Jane from Brass and Glass Photographic Alchemy are coming to Inverlochy to teach this exciting, introductory workshop. You will see the magic of silver and light combining to create a 19th century tintype. Beginning with a short Powerpoint presentation into the history and process with original historic images to view. You will then have the opportunity to craft your own portrait tintype. With care, your priceless heirloom photograph will last for decades without fading or changing colour. Tintypes are created in an authentic bellows camera, processed under red light in a darkroom, then washed, dried and varnished.
