Would you pay $7.95 million for a house?
A renovated 742 square-metre home in Thorndon is likely to set a new record for Wellington –it’s the most expensive house to ever come on the market in the city.
Special features of the five-bedroom, five-bathroom house include a large, traditionally styled conservatory that overlooks a grass tennis court. The family living areas also open out to the tennis court and an expansive outdoor living area.
CoreLogic confirmed $7.95 million is the highest asking price ever asked for a home in Wellington. The previous record is a sale earlier this year was of a house in Clive Road that fetched $5.75 million.
