Woman's Social Grade T20 Cricket Season 18/19 - Players wanted

Claire from Te Aro

Believe it or not - summer is just around the corner (looks outside pretending I can see the sun...)

Johnsonville Cricket Club are actively looking for more players for their social and fun super 8 T20 team - Season starts November 3rd 2018.

Any age from 15yrs up - we currently have a team of lovely ladies all differing in ages and skills.

Play is Saturday 2pm for approx 3 to 3.5hrs in differing locations of Wellington region. I am usually Uber Claire to help with transport and collection and drop offs if needed to get to games.

We have team subs so the bigger team we can share this among the better.

Team cricket gear is provided.

We are hoping to have a team of 10-12 players so that we can have some people take weekends off to spend with families etc. We field 8 players in one game

If anyone would like to know more details please contact me at c.weggery@hotmail.com or message me here.

We would love to welcome new players with all skills.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.

Kia ora neighbours. If you've got a family recipe for courgettes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our January 2025 issue.

How to block interference from an irrelevant poster?

Ruth from Aro Valley

Can anyone give advice on how to do this? I have already reported the interference to the neighbourly team.
