Toastmasters Newtown Meeting Tomorrow

Newtown Toastmasters

Hi Everyone ... a slight alteration to agenda tomorrow (because I couldn't read my own writing!) ๐Ÿ˜

Since tomorrow is our 1st birthday ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŽcelebration, ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿฅ‚๐ŸŽ†we will be starting the meeting a little earlier than normal so we can have a longer break (during the meeting) and share some food and drink ๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿง€๐Ÿ—๐Ÿฅ›โ˜•... and so,

The meeting will start at an earlier time๐Ÿ•– of 7pm instead of 7:35pm.

(For those who are bringing food if you can arrive afew minutes before 7pm that would be great!)

See you all tomorrow at 7pm ๐Ÿ˜

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldnโ€™t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
