Making space for community: start something new in '24
Is there something you’d like to try this year but no one's offering it? Maybe start it yourself: the Island Bay Presbyterian Centre has excellent space to hire during the day, and bringing a group together costs as little as $5 per person. Casual bookings are also welcome. Email us or drop in (88 The Parade) and see our large lounge, hall and auditorium, with wifi, quality sound, and good support facilities (kitchen, gardens, plenty of parking, piano for practice). office@ibpc.org.nz, message us on Facebook, or www.ibpc.org.nz...

What's your favourite tomato recipe?
Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
Moe mai rā, Nicholas.
