Greytown fundraiser this Saturday (25 Feb)
Enjoy this weekend by combining both shopping and doing good for the cyclone-affected Hawke's Bay this weekend in Wairarapa.
This Saturday (25 Feb) Greytown is hosting ‘Day for the Bay’ and invites all to come along to support our northern neighbours.
Greytown businesses, services and hospitality venues have joined forces to put on a day of specials, offers and raffles with more than $10,000 in prizes! The aim is to raise much-needed cash for residents and rural communities who lost so much following Cyclone Gabrielle.
Organisers are encouraging all to come and support the ‘Day for the Bay’ this Saturday.
Also, there's plenty to do in Wairarapa this weekend.
Farmers Markets in Featherston, Carterton and Wairarapa have much to offer just wander around, soak up the rural vibe and take some treasures home with you.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
