Supermarket shopping

Hi, just want to inform anyone that hasn’t heard that the supermarkets are giving priority to essential workers and vulnerable people. I work at the hospital and was told this was the case but encountered an unpleasant situation with a fellow shopper. My husband has a condition so he’s unable to do the shopping without risk to his health so it’s up to me to manage the shopping at some point in my week. After a long busy shift the last thing essential workers want is to spend another hour or so at the supermarket. I know everyone is having issues but please be kind. I as a health worker don’t feel entitled but at this time work is more stressful so this gesture by the supermarkets does help. We really appreciate your understanding. Karori Jigsaw Puzzle Library

The Karori Jigsaw Puzzle Library operates out of the Community Centre. Free to borrow, Thursdays is open day 11:30-1pm. Donations are also welcome. Browse through the attached catalogues if you can't make it and pickup can be arranged at other times.
