Puhoi Village Market, 29 September
Hope you can join us at our Spring Market, 9am - 1pm.
Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, friendly stall holders and great music by Dianne and The Jade River Ukes.
Our special fund-raiser this month is for young Boston who is raising money for a specially trained therapy dog. He will be selling some of his art work and also helping his family with a sausage sizzle.
Boston has High Functioning Autism, Attention Deficit Disorder, Audio Processing Disorder, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia and Anxiety, so everyday things that we take for granted can be challenging and distressing for him. He has a deep love of animals and finds them calming which will be of valuable assistance to him.
Therapy Dogs require extensive training, so his family are fundraising to assist with the cost of this. The total cost will be $13,800 for a trained Labradoodle pup from Therapy Dogs NZ.
Treasures to be found amongst the stalls and at the car Boot Sale.
Email: puhoivillagemarket@gmail.com to book your car boot spot.
New stall-holders also welcome.
Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
